Effective 2026-06-05. Steward is operated by TrendVidia, LLC ("TrendVidia", "we", "us"). By using Steward you agree to these terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and TrendVidia, LLC. By accessing or using Steward — including the website, APIs, GitHub App, and any related software ("Service") — you accept these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
You authenticate via GitHub OAuth (or, for enterprise customers, via single sign-on (SSO) against your OpenID Connect (OIDC) provider). You represent that you are at least 16 years old and have authority to bind the legal entity on whose behalf you act, if any.
You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Notify us at security@trendvidia.com if you believe an account has been compromised.

We may suspend access immediately to address suspected violations that put the Service or other users at risk.
Steward offers a free tier and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through a third-party payment provider. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as documented in the published refund policy for your plan. Tax handling follows the payment provider's tax determination at checkout.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the published price for the next cycle until cancelled from /app/account or the customer portal. Quota and seat limits are enforced as documented on the /pricing page; over-cap usage may be throttled.
Your content stays yours. You retain ownership of any content you submit — source code, governance configuration, evaluation inputs. You grant TrendVidia a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transmit, analyse, and display your content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service for you.
Our content stays ours. The Service, its software, visual design, and trademarks are owned by TrendVidia or our licensors. Portions of the Service are open source under licences published in their respective repositories; that source carries its own licence terms, which take precedence over these Terms for that source.
Feedback. If you send us suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable licence to use them without restriction or compensation.
Parts of the Service generate output using third-party large language models, including a generative model and a vector-embedding model. AI-generated content is non-deterministic and may contain errors. You're responsible for reviewing any AI-generated artefact before relying on it — including governance recommendations, evaluation summaries, contributor reports, and Contributor Licence Agreement (CLA) drafts.
If you Bring Your Own Key (BYOK), your prompts and completions route through the provider you specified, not through TrendVidia. We don't store your key in plaintext — see the Security page.
Each party will protect the other's confidential information using at least the same care it uses for its own confidential information of like kind, and not less than reasonable care. We treat your code, governance configuration, and account data as confidential. We may disclose confidential information when required by law, on condition that we give you reasonable notice (if not legally prohibited).
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY WILL BE LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. EACH PARTY'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY EVEN IF A REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
You will defend, indemnify, and hold TrendVidia harmless from any third-party claim arising out of your content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or law, or your violation of a third party's rights.
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from /app/account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your account is inactive for an extended period, or if continuing to serve you presents legal or security risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Ownership, Confidentiality, Liability, Indemnification, Governing law) survive.
We may add, change, or remove features. For material adverse changes to paid features, we'll provide reasonable advance notice. We may update these Terms; we'll post the revised version with a new Effective date and, if changes are material, notify active customers by email or in-app message.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute arising from these Terms is the state and federal courts located in Delaware. If you're a consumer in a jurisdiction whose consumer-protection rules can't be waived, those rules apply.
